"We expect your retaliation; it's what unites us and divides you."

This from the mouth of a common thug and murdering terrorist, who is of course glorified among far too many fellow Muslims the world over as a 'mujahideen' or 'jihadist' fighter, spreading the glory of Islam.

His response is chilling to the bone as he is being interrogated shortly after his fellow Jihadist thugs had just managed to detonate a dirty bomb in the heart of London. A brilliant fictional but chillingly realistic drama called 'Dirty War' produced by British Luke Alkin. Hundreds of thousands dead, many more dying from radiation poisoning; major parts of the City of London cordoned off for the next 30 years due to contamination; countless businesses and lives ruined; property prices in free fall with no respite anywhere near in sight.   

The sanity of his actions were questioned, citing the inevitable retaliation, causing even more suffering among those, he calls brothers and claims to avenge. "We expect your retaliation; it's what unites us and divides you", brilliantly sums up everything that has happened since 9/11. We are dangerously divided over this issue, and it will be our downfall.

It is the most succinct description of the tragic dichotomy plaguing democratic nations and free societies both East and West: In contrast to a history of millennia during which the individual was virtually powerless and exposed to often limitless physical and mental abuse, we are now experiencing an era where never before in living memory one person, or a small group, is able to inflict cataclysmic devastation and carnage on literally millions whilst at the same time enjoying equally unprecedented levels of protection against any civil rights infringement, effectively barring any form of effective interrogation or prevention; this is compounded by the fact, that individuals are allowed to make their murderous intentions crystal clear by countless and unfailingly explicit announcements without fear of repercussion. It's there for all of us to see, hear and read, if only we chose to. But most of us don't.

Instead, we have a 14-year-old schoolgirl in England arrested by the police one week after complaining to her teacher, who forced her to remain in a project group of five 'Asian' students speaking Urdu, because only one could speak English.

I said 'I'm not being funny, but can I change groups because I can't understand them?' But she started shouting and screaming, saying 'It's racist, you're going to get done by the police'."

Instead, the British Army Chief, General Sir Richard Dannatt, calls for British troops to withdraw from Iraq not because the military objective cannot be achieved, but because the consequences at 'home' could be catastrophic.

Sir Richard also warns that a "moral and spiritual vacuum" has opened up in British society, which is allowing Muslim extremists to undermine "our accepted way of life."

The Chief of the General Staff believes that Christian values are under threat in Britain and that continuing to fight in Iraq will only make the situation worse. [...]

Sir Richard warned that the consequences will be felt at home, where failure to support Christian values is allowing a predatory Islamist vision to take hold. [...]

The General furthermore observed, "We need to face up to the Islamist threat, to those who act in the name of Islam and in a perverted way try to impose Islam by force on societies that do not wish it." Exactly, and the place to start is among those societies who are currently under threat to be cowed into submission by those very thugs, namely in Afghanistan, Iraq, Lebanon and Iran, to name but the most popular.

It is not defeatism. That was what we used to speak about. Now it is high time to take a deep breath and be realistic. It is not defeatism when the writing is on the wall, the troops have left the trenches, and the enemy has smashed into the heartland and is ripping out the infrastructure.

This is precisely what has happened, and we must face the facts. Europe is lost, at least there'll be places called Britain, and Germany and France, just like as Mark Steyn puts it, there is a St Sophia's Cathedral in Istanbul, but it bears no resemblance whatsoever to its former self.

All that remains of most Western European countries is an attractively-drawn region on a map, and some nice, quaint architecture. The values, beliefs, and most importantly, character, that built Western Civilisation are gone. Soon, European politics will be indistinguishable from African politics, complete with regular riots, corruption, and ethnic retaliatory discourse. Europe as a world power is finished, and I mean finished, not just "I'm saying so hoping someone out there important reads blogs like this and might wake up".

Very soon the eggs of economic ruin that Europe has laid will hatch. I suspect their welfare systems wil be the first to go, and the Muslim "immigrants" (I prefer the term 'occupiers', since that is how they behave) aren't going to like that. The healthcare and pension systems will collapse next (and I have, much to my horror, a parent living in the UK, close to London) and this parent will be retiring right at the time it all comes crashing down in France, and elderly non-Muslim French people decide they've had enough of the riots and pogroms back home. Thus placing a critical burden on the British state pension system at a very delicate time. Of course when it comes to trying to get away from Muslims in the EU, you can run but you can't hide, as many have found out already.

The one positive out of all this is that America will experience a surge of "traditional" immigration from yet another European conflagration (what the hell is wrong with Europe? Maybe it should just be dismantled after all, and given away piece by piece to various other factions?)

However given the US's recent experience with the "Spanish Occupation" (once again, the difference between immigrants and occupiers is in behaviour and attitudes to the host country) I suspect there will be much ethnic tension between those Hispanic people who feel they've "reconquered" America from the gringo's, and yet a fresh supply of elderly gringo "reinforcements" from Europe. It's not going to be a happy world for Baby Boomer retirement villages...

Which is why I say again, the Chinese are watching this train-wreck with a critical eye, and are thinking "well, we don't believe in G-d, so we can't pray, so we better make sure we win, lest we end up like these lunatics!"

What I'm trying to say is this: the Chinese don't want us to "win" this clash of civilisations, for an obvious reason. Imagine what the John Kerry's of the world will do and say if the West was victorious.

"A great victory for Western multilateralism, a great victory for gay marriage, pornography, out-of-control promiscuity and drug abuse! A great victory for cultural apartheid..."

No, the West will not win, for a cultural victory in the West would be disastrous for China, and the world order at large. And China has shown time and again they take no hesitation in acting militarily if necessary, to defend the interests of China...."Our Land".

We will not win, for what I am saying, a great many people are starting to sense, and thus you will start to see scenes like this:

Mark my words, with a handy rebellion like radical Islam in the house, raising teenagers in the next twenty years is gonna get really interesting. My friends, this defeatism does not beome you. That said, yes, China could well be the big winner in a war to the death between the West and the Salaami-people. So we'll have to be very smart as well as very deadly.
I was away in New England on vacation, where every town has its Civil War statue. Somebody back then must have made a killing turning out thousands and thousands of statues of Union Soldiers standing erect, eyes alert, musket butt placed between their feet, hands resting on barrel. Every great civilization rots from within and American is rotting away. A country that once had great values is now allowing a full frontal attack on its core values with the press in joyful union with the left. The revolution started in the 60's has born fruit in abortion, gay lifestyle, pornography, and individual rights without responsibility. The Catholic Church imploded when it allowed the left to take over the seminaries in the 60's complete with gays on a mission which led to their inability to speak to the moral decline. The MSM brands anyone concerned about values as some nut case screaming labels such as homophobe or declaring they are trying to create a theocracy when they have before them a clear example of a theocracy that they support in Islamic radicals.

I think the post above in regard to China is correct and the left in this country will lead us to the slaughter. The UN that they love is already in the hands of those who want to end America and the fools think some new one world order will actually have freedom and rights. All we can do is keep fighting and most improtant of all, pray for God's mercy.

Don't make them 10 feet tall. They aren't. This is the just the same old braggings served up by thugs and lowlife since the world began. Is it in Herodotus? The Persian (!) King boasted to the Spartan Archidamus that in his army there had so many archers that one volley would eclispe the sun. "Then we shall fight in the shade", replied the Greek commander. How much is packed in that short but succinct sentence. How well we are understood by the enemy, and how easily our main weakness is identified. When I watched this drama, I was aghast at how easy it was to damage us severely, and how permanent and devastating that damage can be. This was filmed in 2004, a year before the bombing in London, which did not even involve 'dirty bombs'.

Why bother with a huge operation involving 20 people, planes, pilot training, just to eliminate 3000 infidels, when you can devastate 300 000 with one 'dirty bomb' that goes off in a small van, and seriously devastates a whole region for 30 years. It was interesting and scary to see the logistics of how a single cell operates, and how it's operation is calculated to the last minute detail. Each person involved has a specific job to do, and none are aware of the others involved. The so called 'agent' is a national of the country where the attack is to take place, who is a well respected member of the community, either a doctor, a lawyer, a professor etc. All with their specific jobs to do report to him. He is the only one who knows the entire plan. If they meet him in a public place such as a coffee shop, they all wipe their cups or anything they touch. One phone call is made from a single sim card and the phone is thrown away each time. And so on....

When I was in college, I had a Chinese TA for one lab. He could barely speak English, and what he could speak was so heavily accented that it was near unintelligible. En masse we went to the Professor over the lab and demanded politely but resolutely that the TA be removed. The Professor was able to switch the Chinese TA to an area where he was not directly responsible to other students. By the way, the Chinese TA was a great guy, we liked him because he did try so hard to help, but he was not the man for the job. No charges of racism, no PC Police.

The teacher of that 14 year old girl failed in her responsibility to her. But the girl is a racist, of course. The school and police will find proof of it, even if they have to create it.

As for China, the Muslim area in China, I forget its name, is quite quiet and free of agitation. The Chinese government made it very clear what they would do if it wasn't. I am sure they are very capable of doing that on a much larger scale. The mujahideen will learn to fear them, of that I am certain.

The key to all this is, yes, the West thinks in the short term. Other cultures do not.

The Muslims will not win, They will defeat the West, and quite frankly, we deserve what we're going to get. We've brought this on oursleves. It is in the nature of Islam to breed rabid dogs - one does not blame a rabid dog for biting, when one is trying to pet it. Blame implies choice. Islam robs its practitioners of choice, and turns them into death-worshipping automata.

But Muslims will not win in the long term. That is because the death throes of the Chinese Empire are going to be violent, merciless, and quite savage toward Muslims.

Look at it this way. The Chinese have had 50 years to gawk at the train-wreck that Western plural democracy has become, and they want NO PART OF IT. They have also observed the disease of the mind that is Islam, and have rightly concluded mankind has no future with Islam in it, and so, they have decided, Islam must go.

However, to the Chinese mind, Islam is really quite easy to "fix" (and actually it is. There is no problem in militant Islam that a few well-aimed nuclear missiles will not solve. China knows it. Iran knows it. Pakistan knows it).

Two out of those three are nuclear powers. One is desparately trying to become one. Why? Actually, the Mullahs in Iran have correctly concluded that the Chinese have outmaneuvered them. The battle was never about Islam conquering the West, rather about Islam surviving in the Middle East at all.

The enemy China could not figure out how to deal with was ...us. Enter the jihad, the perfect Chinese solution to the problem of Western power and influence in China, Africa and Asia. We will fall to the mullahs, sooner rather than later, at which point the real battle will begin. China doesn't care about Pakistan's nukes, or Iran's nukes. China is a vast country, soon to become more vast when North Korea outlives its usefulness as a barking dog to distract the West, and becomes the next Tibet, and when the Russians realise the writing is on the wall, and they might as well do an "Alaska" and sell Siberia to the Chinese before they just take it.

Then the Chinese will set about making China "moslemin-rein", one gas-chamber bus at a time. Don't for a second think the Chinese are going to give two drunken shags about "Western" opinion when they start shipping Muslims out to the Mongolian gulags. Mao butchered 30 000 000 Chinese during the cultural revolution. Beijing won't think twice about gassing the 20 000 000 or so Muslimm "agitators" trying to bring down the glorious People's Republic!

Which is about the point they'll decide they need to deal with the Islamic world, because oil is too darned important to the Chinese economy to be left to mentally unstable armageddon-mongers like Ahmadinejad.

This is not to say that all will go according to Beijing's plans, but every indication is that this is exactly the way Beijing sees things. And that should make the Muslims very, very afraid. The Chinese see them as a virus that is far easier to deal with than the rot of Western decadence. And China now has a healthy surplus of highly-militarised (as in actual battlefield training, not goose-stepping, Jew-baiting bullshit like Hamas and Hizb'allah) and unmarriageable young men.

Islam, the Perfect Storm is gathering on the horizon. If these are the final days, then the anti-Christ is alive today, and living in Mongolia...

This is my greatest fear in life.

Here the Islamists have complete superiority because of the use devious rules which the West has not even has begun to comprehend. The Islamists (Khameni,Ahmadinejad et al) are thinking centuries ahead while the West’s vision is limited to a fixation on tolerance, freedom and democracy in the present. This aspect alone makes the West completely vulnerable and inferior in the conflict.

Another handicap of the West is its belief that "if we are kind and just and open and play by the rules, then all others will do the same". The Islamists have no intention of playing by any rules. This is backed by tons of verifiable historical facts.The historical events are the key factors to understanding the current trends.

The mullahs don't play as "friends" to the West because the mullahs learned from what happened to the late Shah that only friends can be betrayed not enemies. I believe the West will be taught a good lesson by the mullahs and they won't know it until it is to late. The West is 1400 years behind on the Art of dissimulation(teqiyah sp?)

Alexandra, is it vigilantism to fight for one's freedom? At what point will Westerners begin to fight for their hard-won freedoms? I guess, no one actually wants to be free anymore.
